A place where OLD means new.
Hi! I'm Olof Lönnroth, a webdesigner, musician and Bachelor of Informatics, living in Gothenburg, Sweden.
This is my playground on the web. I currently work as a web designer and developer at NetRelations. If you'd like to ask me something, just send me a note.
Web Design
Return to topCoScoop.com
Advanced web application development and design. Backend programming using PHP and MySQL. Interface design using standards compliant HTML and CSS, as well as some JavaScript.
CoScoop is a social news website, not unlike Digg or Newsvine. It lets people submit links to their favorite stories on the web, and differs from other sites in the genre in that it lets it's users share news stories in a whole new way, where the user's own interests plays an important part. Through CoScoop, people can easily find stories that matches their unique interests, based on which stories the user has liked in the past.
It was developed by me and a couple of other people during the first half of 2007. My main responsibilities on the project was interface design and programming, as well as designing and developing some major parts of the application back end. I also made all the illustrations and icons. CoScoop lies asleep and unused at the moment, awaiting a more exciting future.

Maybe you've heard about one of my silly pseudonyms? Xervana, Attic Session and Joarr are some of them. Nowadays, I'm more into my real name.
I've been making music for over ten years now, and I still genuinely love it. The only problem is that my musical inspiration is often very low, and so I only make probably about two songs a year these days.
I started out making mostly electronic music, in genres such as Trance and House. In 2001, I released an album with Trance music, and have been featured on a small number of other releases since then. Nowadays, I'm into more experimental electronic music, as well as different Metal genres. I sing in a Metal band, and also try to knock out some songs of my own whenever the time is right.
Musical influences include Pain of Salvation, Dream Theater, Porcupine Tree, Opeth, Mike Oldfield, Astral Projection, Depeche Mode, Mew, and much much more. Feel free to listen to a couple of songs below.
